Orchestra & Music Education
Our music program includes orchestra, violin, cello, piano, guitar, and band, providing students with opportunities to develop their musical talents and perform with excellence.
Students are encouraged to discover and develop their musical talents through instrumental instruction, ensemble experiences, and participation in the USIS Orchestra. Music education provides students with opportunities to explore musical expression while developing creativity, focus, discipline, and confidence.
Through individual practice and ensemble performance, students learn to listen carefully, work together, and contribute to a shared musical goal. Rehearsals and performances help students develop perseverance, responsibility, and an appreciation for the role each individual plays within an ensemble.
Through continued participation in music and performance, students have opportunities to grow both as musicians and as members of a community. These experiences nurture creativity, collaboration, and self-expression while providing students with meaningful opportunities to share their talents with others.
